A tussy mussy or sometimes spelled Tussie Mussie is a Victorian-style bouquet holder for a small group of flowers designed in a way to be carried. Traditionally, the holder is made of sterling silver, although it can also be made from other metals, the only one we carry is solid sterling silver. They’re a great way to incorporate something old, if you are following the lucky saying “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.” If you are using a Tussie Mussie you should remember that they are designed to carry a smaller grouping of Flowers. Our tussy mussies come with a long chain with a pin attached which keeps the flower poesy (Bouquet) in place even when held upside down. A “finger ring” on the bottom allows you to hold on to your flower posy while dancing. Adding a Tussy Mussy in your wedding, will certainly add a level of formality and style. The Tussy Mussy pictured here is composed of two of our items. The first is the Tussy Mussy itself, the second is a round tag added to the bottom. You can engraved a single initial on the holder and add additional information to the tag if desired. The example shown here has the brides maiden name initial on the Tussy Mussy and the round tag has the bride and groom’s name and their wedding date. Very nice….
